a word of caution

This is a very useful Tarot deck, but please don't anyone pay $40 for it. You may purchase it directly from BOTA (bota.org) for just $13.

A deck for spiritual developmant not divination.

This is a deck designed to be used by B.O.T.A. students for their spiritual development. Part of the process requires that the student color their own deck. Therefore, these cards are not colored, or intended for use in divination. They are intended to be used with B.O.T.A. instructions. These instructions are now available in Paul Foster Case's books here on Amazon or from B.O.T.A. in a personalized course.
If you are searching for a ready made deck, which may also be used for similar esoteric symbolism, you might do well with the Ryder Waite Deck.

disappointed

I was excited to get this deck and color myself, I wanted like it. I was disappointed in the card stock. They are also difficult to handle, and not great quality. Like extra thick copy paper. I was also disappointed in the minor archana. No images except for court cards which have a full picture. The other minor archana are just the wands, cups etc, and like for four of cups, there are four cups only on the card. So if this is fine and you are familiar with BOTA deck it will work. The cards are small great for travel, but need a fine tip paint brush or pencils etc. Pencils do not have all the colors they suggest. Go to an art store for lots of color options. If it was worth returning I would return it. I finally ended up ordering the Rider deck to learn tarot.
